Mainline Stunts, a family company, has been operating in Queensland since 1993.

The Van Moorsel’s , Mick and Annette along with their sons Karl and Mark have a range of experience performing in the stunt industry. Mick started in Perth in 1981, Annette on the Gold Coast in 1991 and Karl & Mark on the Gold Coast in 1998.

Primarily throughout this time the main focus was film stunts and they have been fortunate to be hired on a large percentage of big movies that have been shot in Australia since. Featuring in films such as Daybreakers, The Matrix, Mission Impossible II, Stealth, House of Wax, The Marine, Thin Red Line, Mars The Red Planet, The Phantom, Peter Pan, Jackie Chan’s First Strike and Jackie Chan’s Mr. Nice Guy, Ghost Rider 2, Mission Impossible 4 Ghost Protocol ; this is just a small sample of the projects Mainline Stunts have been involved in as they hold over 250 credits between them.

Mainline Stunts has since diversified from Stunt Performing into the areas of Movie Vehicle Hire, Film Set Driver Training.

Mick and Annette are passionate about cars, moving ahead and trying to be at the forefront of each of these areas. Building Stunt Cars and Rigs has recently brought about the opportunity to create and perform intense chase sequences involving huge car crashes. Whether it be two wheeling, drifting, motocross, precision driving, stunt driving or whatever; they are constant about creating innovative ways of taking each area to the next level without ever forgetting the key aspect of safety.

Film Set Driving (not available until further notice)

Mick and Annette both hold Workplace Trainer and Assessor Certificate IV and created the training package for Film Set Driving Levels I and II. These packages are held in venues with suitable training areas, keeping safety as the main priority. Now Mainline Stunts can offer the industry fully qualified drivers that can handle almost anything on set.
